Manna

Sustenance takes many forms. It is found in the people we gather with, the traditions we inherit, the memories we share, and the food that brings us together.

Manna takes its name from the ancient idea of sustenance as something given, shared, and sacred. Inspired by the shared South African Jewish heritage of the curator and restaurateur, the exhibition brings together artists from across the Southeast to reflect on the many ways we are sustained through food, family, tradition, memory, collaboration, belonging, and community.

The table has long been a place where nourishment extends beyond the meal itself. Around the table, traditions are passed down, stories are shared, and community is built. Manna finds its natural home at Daily Chew.
