"My work is an exploration of the detritus of the human experience. It references everything from Paleolithic and Neolithic tools, art, and pottery to Greco-Roman sculpture and religious devotionals, to common household garbage and industrial/organic waste. I am interested in the dialogue these artifacts suggest and what they say about us. How does what we make and leave behind speak to universal issues of ephemerality, desire, and mortality?"
